Room objects exported in DWF files from Revit ® 2012 may yield unexpected results when imported into QTO. Projects created using this project template will have these settings automatically applied. This process is similar to creating takeoff types in a regular project. Within each package in the template, you can then create takeoff types to use to define your takeoff. Once settings for the project template are configured, return to the Packages page using the left navigation to create takeoff packages for the template. These settings will apply to all takeoff packages created in projects using this template. On the Template > Packages page, click Settings at the upper right of the page to define project settings such as measurement and classification systems for the project template. In the left navigation, click Packages to configure elements of the template for takeoff. From this page, you can use Details to edit the template name or archive the template, or use Permissions to add template members and edit their template access. The Configuration page for the template will open. Switch to Takeoff using the Product Picker drop-down at the top left. The Project Administration Configuration page for that project template will open.
